Temporary Device Return Policy
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns of temporary devices by GIS parents to Yazi. Our aim is to ensure a smooth and transparent process for all our customers.
1. Device Ownership
The temporarily issued HP Chromebook remains the sole property of Yazi Technologies at all times during the loan period.
2. Condition of Issued Device
The device is issued in full working condition, including:
- Functional keyboard (all keys working)
- Fully operational screen (no cracks, black spots, or dead pixels)
- Intact hinges and casing
- No loose or missing screws
- Proper booting and charging functionality
The recipient agrees to return the device in the same condition it was received.
3. Return Conditions
Once the new Chromebook device is available, the parent/guardian must return the temporary HP Chromebook within 3 working days.
If the returned device shows any of the following:
- Broken, cracked, or malfunctioning screen
- Damaged or non-functional keyboard
- Loose or missing screws
- Broken hinges or casing
- Any physical or water damage
The parent/guardian will be liable to pay a damage fee equal to 15% of the cost of the new device purchased.
5. Changes to This Policy
Yazi reserves the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
